Manchester Cops Nab 2 Teens in Stolen Car After Pursuit
Two teens arrested after a pursuit have ties to area car burglaries, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — Two teens were arrested after a police chase involving a stolen that began in Manchester early Wednesday morning.
The case has ties to area car burglaries, police said.
At 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday, a Manchester Police sergeant observed three suspicious vehicles at the Food Bag store at 116 East Center St., according to a report.

One of the vehicles — a silver Subaru Forester — was reported as being stolen out of Manchester the previous night. The vehicles left the Food Bag and headed westbound on Center Street and police tried to pull the Subaru over, but it continued westbound on Center Street, according to a report.
The pursuit continued onto Interstate-84 Westbound and into Hartford, police said. The vehicle stopped in the area of Gillette Street in Hartford and the occupants then fled on foot, a report indicates.

Manchester Officers were assisted by both Hartford Police and the State Police, and the two suspects from the Subaru were apprehended a short time later.
The two suspects were in possession of items that were stolen during recent car burglaries in South Windsor, Vernon and Manchester, according to a report.
Vernon police said no charges had been filed against either as of early Wednesday afternoon.
South Windsor Deputy Chief Scott Custer said a wallet missing after a car burglary on Ash Street the night before was found in the Subaru and charges are likely to be filed in that case. A vehicle matching the Subaru's description was seen in the area at the time of the theft, he added.
The driver of the vehicle was a 17 year old Male, police said. He was was charged with:
- Second-degree larceny
- Conspiracy to Commit second-degree larceny
- Sixth-degree larceny (two counts)
- Conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny (two counts)
- Reckless endangerment
- Second-degree criminal trover
- Possession of a facsimile firearm
- Reckless driving
- Engaging police in pursuit
The passenger was identified as Kyle Bolduc, 19, of Manchester. He was charged with with:
- Second-degree larceny
- Conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny
- Sixth-degree larceny (two counts)
- Conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny (two counts)
- Reckless endangerment
- Second-degree criminal trover
- Possession of a facsimile firearm
He was held overnight on a $250,000 bond and was to appear in court later on Wednesday, police said.
