MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester Police Department Detectives Thursday released surveillance images of the suspects in a burglary at a jewelry kiosk inside the Shoppes at Buckland Hills mall.

Early Tuesday morning, the Banter by Piercing Pagoda kiosk jewelry cases were forced open, and a large amount of "high-value" jewelry was taken, police said. The woman pictured appeared to act as a lookout for at least one man, and it is possible another man was involved as a lookout.

The thieves exited the mall after the caper, police said..

The Buckland incident is possibly related to a similar theft to Banter by Piercing Pagoda in the Danbury Fair Mall that occurred on June 10, police said. During the theft in Danbury, a man pried open jewelry cases and also stole a large amount of high-value jewelry and a second man and a woman served as lookouts, police said.

The thieves exited the mall and left in a light-colored four-door sedan, police said.
