Update: Manchester Cops Serve Warrant on Suspected Home Meth Lab

The warrant was served Thursday.

MANCHESTER, CT - Police told NBC Connecticut they served a warrant on a Canterbury Street home  on Thursday that includes a warning about a clandestine lab.

Police later said it is a suspected meth lab at 33 Canterbury St. 

Wayne Newbury Jr. 41, is accused of cooking meth, there, police said.

The warning was posted on the front door and says, “A clandestine laboratory for the manufacture of illegal drugs and/or hazardous chemicals was seized at this location.”

The warning hints about hazardous substances.
