MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester Country Club has been named one of the best public courses in the nation by a major web site.

"We are grateful to share that Manchester Country Club has been recognized by Golf Pass as one of the Top 50 public golf courses in the country," course officials said in a weekend social media post.

GolfPass is a digital membership program that combines discounted tee times, instructional content, and streaming. Manchester Country Club is ranked No. 49 for 2026.

Golf Pass compiles rankings based on more than 226,000 reviews from everyday golfers nationwide, and MCC was selected as one of their favorite courses to play.

"This recognition is a direct reflection of the outstanding experience our club provides," club officials said. "A sincere thank you to our past and current Board and Committee members, as well as our hard-working staff, whose dedication and commitment continue to elevate Manchester Country Club."

Manchester Country Club is an 18-hole course designed in 1917 Tom Bendelow and Devereux Emmet. Recognized as a top-50 course by Golf Pass. It features an "old New England" 6,339-yard, Par-72 layout with traditional Bent grass and small greens.

It is also characterized by strategic bunker placement and natural, undulating terrain.

The club provides modern amenities, including three state-of-the-art golf simulators for year-round training, a practice area, and a full-service clubhouse.
