Manchester Cruiser Hit by Stolen Mercedes: Police
The cruiser was hit during an investigation in Hebron, according to a report.

HEBRON, CT — State police out of Troop K are seeking help in locating a stolen vehicle that struck Manchester Police cruiser
On Tuesday at 6:11 p.m., state police were assisting Manchester police, who were attempting to take a juvenile into custody on East Street, when the juvenile showed up operating a black 2001 Mercedes E320, a confirmed stolen motor vehicle out of Manchester, state police said.
When a Manchester officer, attempted to box in the vehicle in a private driveway, the juvenile operator backed the vehicle up, then drove forward, striking the driver’s door causing minor injury to the Manchester officer, who was in uniform standing in between the open car door and the driver’s compartment of the unmarked police vehicle, state police said.

After leaving the scene, state troopers picked up the trail and attempted to stop the vehicle, but the Mercedes fled at a high rate of speed onto Interstate-384 west.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the black 2001 Mercedes E320 bearing Connecticut registration is asked to please contact Troop K at 860-465-5400 or text TIP711 + the information to 274637. All calls/texts will remain confidential, state police said.
