Manchester Drug Raid Nets 4 Arrests
The raid in Manchester was the result of a long investigation, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — A drug-related raid on a Manchester home resulted on four arrests, police said.
On Tuesday, members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force executed a series of search warrants stemming from a long-term investigation at 2 Sanford Road in Manchester, according to a news release.
The search warrants were the result of an investigation into narcotics activity taking place occurring from the home, according to a news release.

During the raid, task force members were able to seize marijuana, cocaine, digital scales, packaging materials and drug paraphernalia, all located throughout the home, according to a new release.
Task Force members also located a stolen enclosed trailer which was later released to its owner, according to a news release.

Four were charged as a result of the raid:
- Eric Cox, 33, for possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell, operating a drug factory, tampering/destruction of evidence and risk of injury. Cox was held on a total of $200,000 in bonds for his role in the drug investigation and the stolen trailer, according to a news release.
- Unique Oyola, 19, for marijuana possession, tampering/destruction of evidence and risk of injury. Oyola's bond was set at $10,000, according to a news release.
- Takisha Astiacio, 37, for possession of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell, operating a drug factory, possession of drug paraphernalia and risk of injury. Astiacio’s bond was set at $50,000, according to a news release.
- Steven Rice, 58, for cocaine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5,000, according to a news release.
More arrests are expected pending further investigation, according to a news release.
