Manchester DUI Suspect Hides from Cops Under Sheets: Report
A Manchester man was charged with drunken driving after an involved escapade, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — A drunken driving incident earlier this month involved a man leaving a local CVS store with his alarm on, fleeing on foot, then to his home and ultimately hiding from the cops under his sheets, police said.
And after police brought him out of the bedroom at his 108 Broad Street home, Mustapha Mboob, 27, was charged with driving under the influence, interfering with police, failure to obey a stop sign and failure to obey an officer’s signal, records show.
He was arrested on Nov. 7, according to police records.

Mboob posted a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Nov. 21., record indicate.
The Hartford Courant reported that when police approached Mboob, he surrendered by throwing his hands in the air and said he was sleeping.
