Manchester High School Co-Op Swimmers Take Titles At State LL Meet
Swimmers who compete on the Manchester High School co-op team shined Tuesday at a major state meet.

MANCHESTER, CT — Swimmers who compete on the Manchester High School co-op team won state class titles Tuesday at the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference LL meet at Wesleyan University.
Senior Jocelyn Niemczyk took the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:03.62. Glastonbury High School senior Annika Paluska was second at 1:03.94.
The MHS co-op team placed third in the 400-yard freestyle relay it a time of 3:38.45. The team featured sophomore Riley Anderson, Junior, Isabella Falkowski, sophomore Natalia Harnois and Niemczyk. Ridgefield won the race in 3:28.10 and Greenwich was second in 3:32.38.

Anderson took the championship in both sprints. She won the 50-yard freetstyle with a time of 22.95 seconds. Lily Archibald of Ridgefield was second (23.51) and Paluska was third (23.62). Anderson win the 100 in 50.50. Sofie Wang of Greenwich was second (51.75) and Bridget Kelly of Ridgefield was third (52.72).
