Manchester Man, 53, Charged with Repeated Sexual Assault on Teenage Girl
Police say he admitted to molesting the girl.

Manchester police said that for two years, Fred Parnham repeatedly forced himself on a teenage girl, starting when she was 13 or 14, according to a report in the Hartford Courant which cited police statements and an arrest warrant affidavit.
Parnham, arrested Friday, is charged with second- and fourth-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and cruelty to persons, the Courant reported. The girl’s mother had reported the matter to police on Sept. 14.
In text messages sent, apparently, after Parnham found out that the girl had decided to speak to police, Parnham made statements that made him look guilty, saying he expected to go to prison and pleading with her for forgiveness. He admitted the sexual assaults when police interviewed him, according to the affidavit.
