Manchester Man Arrested After Police Find 9 Firearms, Silencers During Warrant Service

MANCHESTER, CT — A 49-year-old Manchester man was arrested Thursday on a domestic violence warrant and faces additional charges after police said they found nine firearms, ammunition and three silencers during a search of his home, police said.

David Graham was taken into custody at his residence on an active warrant stemming from allegations of third-degree assault, second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct, according to Manchester police.

As part of the investigation, officers executed a search warrant at Graham's Parker Street residence. Police said they found nine firearms that Graham was prohibited by law from possessing, including three assault-style weapons, as well as ammunition and three silencers.

Graham was charged with five counts of violation of a protective order for possessing firearms while active protective orders were in effect, records show.

He also was charged with nine counts of criminal possession of a firearm, two counts of theft of a firearm for possessing or obtaining firearms that had been reported stolen, and three counts of illegal possession of an assault weapon, police said.

Additional charges include alteration of a firearm identification mark or serial number, three counts of possession of a silencer and criminal possession of ammunition.

Graham was being held on bonds totaling $1.15 million and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Friday.

The investigation remains ongoing, police said.
