Manchester Man Charged After Swerving Around Cop Cars On I-84: Report
A speeding spree led to a Manchester man being charged by state police.

MANCHESTER, CT — A Manchester man was arrested after eluding authorities from two states while speeding from Massachusetts into Tolland County and beyond, Connecticut state police said.
State police released details on the Feb. 22 incident this week.
At 3:49 p.m. that day, the state police Troop C barracks was notified by state police in Massachusetts of a black BMW that refused to pull over and fled the Sturbridge area at a high rate of speed, according to an arrest report.

Connecticut State Police positioned on the westbound side of Interstate 84 spotted the vehicle between exits 69 and 68, but the driver, identified as a 22-year-old Manchester man, swerved around state police cruisers and continued west in excess of 85 mph, according to an arrest report.
He was later tracked down at a residence in Manchester and charged with improper use of a marker plate, driving without the proper insurance, reckless driving (surpassing 85 mph)engaging police in a pursuit, improper passing, and failure to drive in the proper lane.
