Manchester Man Charged With Taking Debit Card in Vernon During Holiday Season

Police made an arrest in the case on Friday.

VERNON, CT — A Manchester man has been charged for allegedly stealing a debit card during the holiday shopping season, heading to an automated teller machine and withdrawing money, police said.

Vernon police on Friday arrested Bryant Myers, 25, of 54 Chestnut St., Manchester and charged him with credit card theft by transfer, auto teller fraud, third-degree identity theft and fifth-degree larceny, according to a report.

The theft took place in Dec. 4, police said.

He posted a $5,000 bond and is due in court on March 28, records show.
