
Mary Ann (Kiel) Brouse, 85, of Manchester, formerly of Glastonbury, wife of the late Charles Austin Brouse, died Wednesday June 1, 2016 at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Born March 22, 1931in Plattsburgh, NY, daughter of the late Henry and Katherine (Murphy) Kiel, she had lived in Glastonbury many years, moving to Manchester in 2008. Mary Ann graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Architecture. She was a former member of St. Augustine Church and past president and member of the altar guild. She was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority and loved to travel throughout the world.
Mary Ann is survived by her two sons, Robert Brouse of Manchester and William Brouse and his wife Katie of Madbury, NH and two granddaughters, Rachel and Laura Brouse. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Kiel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday June 8 at 10am in St. Augustine Church, 55 Hopewell Rd., South Glastonbury. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury on Tuesday June 7 from 4-7pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
