Manchester Officials Direct Wrecking Ball Toward Blighted Building
The structure was acquired at a tax delinquency sale.

MANCHESTER — The board of directors on Tuesday decided to come into its meeting like a wrecking ball regarding a rundown building near town hall.
It will now be demolished, the Hartford Courant reported.
The vacant commercial/residential building at 111-13 Center St. is in "deplorable condition" and not worth saving, General Manager Scott Shanley told the board before the unanimous vote in favor of demolition.
