Manchester Officials Promoting Flags For Veterans Day
Manchester has new and used flag solutions for Veterans Day.
MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester officials posed a question for residents on Tuesday.
"Need a flag for Veterans Day?"
If so, local officials said they have the answer.

The Customer Service and Information Center at Manchester Town Hall currently has American Flags and kits available for purchase. Veterans Day is Nov. 11.
Single flags can be purchased for $21.

The kit includes a 3-foot-by-5-foot nylon all-weather flag with embroidered stars, a 6-foot pole, a bracket and an ornament for $62.
The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is is located at 41 Center St. Residents can call 860-647-5235 for more information or to view photos click here.
Residents who have old flags can contact the local Elks Lodge, whichaccepts flags to be retired. Those who need the service can call ahead to arrange a time for drop-off at 860-646-9262.
