Manchester One of Few Towns Getting More State Aid in Malloy Plan
Manchester actually would receive about $154,000 more in state funding in fiscal year 2019 than it was slated to receive previously.

MANCHESTER, CT - The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.
Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.
Manchester is actually one of the few towns that fares better than before under Malloy's revised plan.

It will receive $40.9 million under his new plan; under the old plan it was slated to get $39.9 million - or $154,396 less.
