MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police have taken to social media to promote what has been dubbed "The 9 p.m. Routine" in an effort to thwart car thefts and burglaries.

Police recently annunced another rash of veculular break-ins in Manchester, including one involving a handgun stolen from an unlocked car.

Manchester police have posted several public service announcements on Facebook recently promoting “The 9 p.m. Routine” a monicker being used nationwide by law enforcement agencies.
