Manchester Police Canine Team Wins $4,000 Grant After National Second-Place Finish
A second-place finish in a national grant giveaway has brought $4,000 to support the Manchester Police Department police dog unit.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police officer Cory Fullana and police dog Dakota placed second in the Hometown Heroes National Grant Giveaway, earning a $4,000 grant for the Manchester Police Department canine unit.
According to the announcement, the finish came after support for Dakota in the national contest.
The funding is intended to help the unit continue its work in the community.
