MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester authorities are looking for a souped-up Honda Civic that hit a police cruiser after a car burglary Thursday morning, law enforcement officials said.

The car in question is what police are describing as an "older model" red Honda Accord equipped with a spoiler. The officer was not injured, but the Honda now has a black streak of paint on its passenger side quarter panel after hitting the officer's police vehicle, according to a report.

The incident was reported by police at about 5:15 a.m. The car burglary took place along the 100 block of Pine St. The driver of the Honda is male, police said.
