Manchester Police Investigating Pair of Robberies

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester Police are investigating two armed robberies.

The first was on Tuesday morning at about 11 a.m. in the parking lot of the Food Bag at 116 Center St., police told the Hartford Courant.

A robber punched a store employee and grabbed a bag of money the staff member was transporting to a local bank, according to the story.

On Friday, a robber stole money from a register at the Memorial Corner Store at 352 Main St., police told the Courant.
