Manchester Police Looking For Armed Bandit Who Held Up Hartford Road Store

MANCHESTER, CT - Manchester Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred over the weekend.

On Saturday at 2:14 a.m., a man walked into the Mobile Mart at 427 Hartford Road with a thin-barreled rifle, police said.

He walked up to the counter and told the cashier to, "Give me the money real quick." The suspect then fled north on Palm Street with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The robber is being described by police as a white male about 5-foot-8 wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a baseball hat, dark pants. He had a white shirt covering his face, police said.

The suspect was also wearing what appeared to be red-colored fingerless gloves, police said.

Nobody was injured during the incident, police said.
