Manchester Police Looking For Chinese Restaurant Bandit

Manchester police on Thursday released images of a suspect in a Chinese restaurant robbery.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police on Thursday released images of a suspect in a Chinese restaurant robbery.

The incident took place at about 4 p.m. Monday at the Ruby restaurant, 485 Hartford Road, police said. The suspect is still at large, police said.

A black man wearing a gray sweatshirt, a black knit hat and lighter sweaptants went into the estblishment, implied he had a gun, and took cash from the register and from an employee's purse after forcing two employees into a bathroom, according to a report.

The man then fled on foot, police said.
