Manchester Police Looking for Knife-Wielding Wal-Mart TV Thieves
Bandits threatened a Wal-Mart worker, stole a TV and left in a getaway car with mismatched wheels, police said.
MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police are searching for knife-wielding bandits who stole a large-screen television from the Buckland Hills Wal-Mart after threatening a worker.
The incident took place at 4 p.m. on Jan. 26, police said. Two men left the Wal-Mart store at 420 Buckland Hills Drive without paying for a 50-inch, flat-screen TV.
When they were confronted by an employee, one of the suspects pulled out a knife and threatened the worker, police said.

The suspects then fled the area in what is possibly a 2002 to 2004 model purple or burgundy Jeep Cherokee, police said. The vehicle was additionally described as having a "black metal rear passenger rim," with the other rims being silver alloy, police said.
