Manchester Police Briefly Chase Stolen Truck

MANCHESTER, CT - Manchester Police briefly chased a truck stolen from Colchester Friday morning.

The incident took place at about 6 a.m., when officers were sent to the area near Dunkin' Donuts on Center Street after someone complained about a black pickup truck driving recklessly, police said.

An officer saw the truck on Edgerton Street and tried to pull it over but the vehicle sped away, police said.

Police said they briefly chased the truck but then terminated the pursuit.

The vehicle was last seen driving northbound on Adams St. It was then determined that the truck was stolen out of Colchester, police said.
