Manchester Police, McDonald's, Teaming Up For Coffee With A Cop

Local police and McDonald's are teaming up for a Coffee With A Cop event this week.

MANCHESTER, CT — McDonald’s restaurants in Connecticut are teaming up with their neighborhood police departments — including Vernon — to observe National Coffee with a Cop Day on Wednesday.

The national one-day event is designed to bring local police officers and citizens together – over coffee – to "discuss community issues and build relationships in a safe and neutral environment."

The Manchester event is on tap for the McDonald’s 70 West Center Street from 8 to 11 a.m.
