Manchester Police: Tuesday Robbery was Part of Drug Deal
Two have been arrested in the case.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester Police said it appears that a Tuesday afternoon robbery took place during the course of a drug deal.
Police first announced the investigation Tuesday night and on Wednesday offered more details.
No injuried were reported at the incident at ar 222 School St., police said.

Police said the victim in the case reported that he was robbed after being called to the residence to sell someone marijuana.
When the victim entered the residence, one suspect brandished a handgun and another brandished a knife, and proceeded to rob him of his money and marijuana, police said.

So far two people have been arrested for their roles in the incident. They are:
Zeequan Groves , 24, of 222 School St., Manchester. He was charged with:
- First-degree robbery
- Conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery
- First-degree burglary
- Conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary
- Sixth-degree larceny
- Conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny
- Carrying a Dangerous Weapon
Jeffrey Hightower, 19, of 222 School St., Manchester was charged with:
- Conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery
- Conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary
- Conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny
He was held overnight on a $100,000 bond and was was appear in court on Wednesday, police said.
