Manchester Restaurant Could Get New Drive-Up Window In A New Look

MANCHESTER, CT — A Mexican chain restaurant in Manchester could soon be getting a makeover.

Local officials said Wednesday that Planning and Zoning Commission applications have been submitted that request a Special Exception Modification and Design Overlay Zone Review approval that would pave for way for remodeling the existing Chipotle building at 50 Hale Road.

The property is also known as 48 Hale Road.

The proposed renovations include a 223-square-foot addition that would serve as a pick-up window.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc., often shortened to just Chipotle, is a U.S.based chain of "fast casual" Mexican restaurants that serve up bowls, tacos and burritos with a trademark of being made to order in front of the diners.
