Manchester Sets FY27 Budget Workshop Dates

MANCHESTER, CT — The Town of Manchester has released the schedule for its Fiscal Year 2027 budget workshops. The meetings will take place in March and April 2026, allowing for public input and review before the budget's final adoption.

The process begins with a presentation to the Board of Directors on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. This initial meeting will take place in the Manchester Room. Following this, a series of workshops will be conducted, covering various town departments and services.

Budget Workshop #1 is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room, focusing on the Board of Education. Workshop #2 will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., also in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room, addressing General Government Administrative Services and the Fire Department.

Public Works and Sanitation will be the focus of Budget Workshop #3 on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room. On Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., the Water & Sewer Department will be discussed during Workshop #4, also at the Lincoln Center Hearing Room.

A follow-up session for the Board of Education, along with Leisure Services, is set for Budget Workshop #5 on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Work_Space 903 Main. Police and Human Services will be covered during Workshop #6 on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room. An additional workshop, if needed, is scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Work_Space 903 Main.

A public hearing on the budget is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room. The final budget adoption is slated for Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lincoln Center Hearing Room. All meetings will be held in person, with remote access available via Zoom.
