Manchester Sports Hall of Fame Elects New Honorees

The new class of inductees will be celebrated Nov. 7 at Manchester Country Club.

Five individuals will be inducted into the Manchester Sports Hall of Fame this fall, while five others will receive awards, the Journal Inquirer reported.

Elected to the Class of 2015 are championship coaches Stan Bebyn, Mike Bendzinski and Jude Kelly, multi-sport standout Liz Nuebelt and the late Samuel Kotsch.

Also being honored at the 36th annual dinner will be Dennis McCormack (Joe McCluskey Award), Walt Adamy (Founders Award) and Lynn Bono, Sue Brown and Heather Plagge (Marcy MacDonald/Title IX Award).

The induction will take place Saturday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. at Manchester Country Club. Tickets are $40, and may be purchased at Park Hill Joyce Flower Shop, 36 Oak St., Manchester.

The Manchester Sports Hall of Fame is located in the Old Manchester Museum, at 126 Cedar Street.
