MANCHESTER, CT — A Manchester store has been fined and had its liquor permit suspended for a week for several violations, including selling alcoholic beverages to minors, state regulators said.

The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission cited the Super Convenience Store at 469 Hartford Turnpike for sales to a minor and related required postings about selling to underage customers.

It was also chastised for three other clerical violations.

The fine was $2,500.

The store dodged a suspension on Christmas and New Year's weeks, but will not be able to sell liquor from Jan. 18 to Jan. 24, according to state regulators.
