Manchester Synagogue Opens Religious School Registration

Rabbi Leon Wind Religious School welcomes Jewish Families of all backgrounds

Enrollment is now open for the Rabbi Leon Wind Religious School (RLWRS), located at Beth Sholom B’nai Israel, 400 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester. RLWRS is a close-knit community of students, teachers, and parents who strive to create a safe and supportive environment for learning and growth. Along with learning the basic skills needed to participate in Jewish communal life, our students have the opportunity to explore what it means to be Jewish and to develop a sense of their own Jewish identities. Students build strong and lasting relationships with their Jewish peers, and students and their families are welcomed into the larger community of BSBI through events such as holiday programs and family Shabbat dinners.

Cantor Sarah Bolts, principal, says of the school, “We are very proud of the program we've created here at RLWRS, and we are especially excited for our new curriculum to be implemented fall 2018."

RLWRS values egalitarianism and pluralism. Although we are part of a Conservative synagogue, our school welcomes families from a variety of Jewish backgrounds. Interfaith families, LGBTQ families, and families of color are welcome here, as well as non-members.
