Manchester Teacher Suspended Over Classroom Behavior
The teacher was sent a letter of discipline.

MANCHESTER, CT — A technology teacher at Illing Middle School was suspended for his classroom behavior, according to a disciplinary letter.
The suspension for Victor Berard was for five days without pay, according to officials.
Disciplinary documents involving teachers are not exempt from release under state Freedom-of-Information law.

According to the letter, Berard called students “stupid” and “barked” at them on several occasions. Students complained, officials said.
