Manchester Woman Among 2 Charged In Storrs Workplace Incidents

MANSFIELD, CT — A Manchester resident was involved in one of two arrests involving workplace incidents at Storrs Center restaurants, state police said.

On May 23, a warrant was served to a 66-year-old Manchester woman charging her with breach of peace and second-degree threatening for a workplace threat at Haven Hot Chicken, according to an arrest report.

The woman had a disagreement with company officials and subsequently sent messages to a district manager saying she was going to return to the eatery and "shoot everyone up," according to a warrant.

A 24-year-old Windsor woman was charged on May 20 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault on a warrant for an April incident at Jefferson Fry Co.

According t0 a warrant, she first had a confrontation with a fellow employee during a shift. After completing his hours, the other employee went to his vehicle, only to find a tire that had gone flat as a result of several slash marks made with a knife, according to a warrant.
