Manchester Woman Apprehended for Corportate Theft as part of Tolland Drug Raid

State police went looking for the woman and found a drug factory.

MANCHESTER, CT — The woman state police were looking for just before they discovered a drug factory in Tolland on Sunday was wanted for corporate theft in Manchester, local police said.

At 9:35 a.m.on Sunday, state police went to 20 Willington Ave. in Tolland to serve an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Amber Blanchette, according to an arrest report. A warrant had been issued for her arrest on fourth-degree larceny charges, Manchester police said.

Blanchette allegedly stole computers from her employer, Manchester police said.

Troopers were met at the door by Travis Wynans, 20, who let them inside the residence, an arrest report indicates. He said Blanchette was asleep in a bedroom, according to an arrest report.

Troopers then saw — in plain view — narcotics equipment, butane torches and other equipment used for cooking marijuana into "a high-potency THC substance commonly known as THC oil, also knows as "dabs" and "wax" and "shatter," according to an arrest report.

Packaging materials, marijuana, scales THC oil were found in the bedroom according to an arrest report.

Blanchette was turned over to Manchester police, state police said.

Meanwhile, Wynans, whose listed address is 121 Kozley Road in Tolland, was charged with operating a drug factory. pot possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and possessing a con trolled substance, state police said.

He was being held on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear on court Monday, according to an arrest report.
