Manchester's Spruce Street Farmers Market 2024 Season Begins

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester's Spruce Street Farmers Market kicked off its season Wednesday.

The market is scheduled for Wednesdays from June 5 to Aug. 28, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Visitors will be able to shop 25-plus local CT vendors, including farmers, a weekly featured food truck, prepared food merchants and artisans.

Free parking is located at 160 Spruce St.

The market accepts SNAP/EBT payments and will double the value of SNAP purchases up to $20. Those spending $20 using an EBT card will receive an additional $20 to spend on SNAP-eligible items.

All children in attendance will receive a $2 Power of Produce voucher each market for use on any fresh produce.

In addition, the Senior POP Program offers Manchester seniors the opportunity to register for a $5 voucher for use on any fresh fruits or vegetables at the market.
