MCC Extending Scholarship Deadline
Manchester Community College officials have extended the scholarship application deadline for 2020-21.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester Community College officials have extended the scholarship application deadline for the 2020-21 academic year to April 30.
"To help students struggling right now with personal issues related to the pandemic crisis, we
have extended our Fall 2020 scholarship application deadline, and we have also expanded the
program to offer scholarships for students who need to take summer classes," said Diana Reid,
director of development and alumni relations. "There is also help for students through the Funds
to Finish Scholarship, which assists students who have one or two classes left to graduate by
covering the cost of tuition for up to six credits."

MCC students who attend on a full-time or part-time basis and are matriculated in a degree or
certificate program at the college are eligible to apply for scholarships.
Each semester, scholarships awarded through the support of MCC Foundation . More than $400,000 in scholarship funding was awarded for the 2019-2020 academic year.
In addition, graduating high school students who have been admitted to MCC are eligible to
apply for the High School Graduate/GED Scholarship.
Applicants must meet the following criteria: They must be enrolled either full- or part-time in an MCC degree or certificate program, have a high school grade point average of 2.5 or better, be able to demonstrate volunteer activity and show evidence of financial need.
