MCC Offering Special Showing Of Horror Classic

Manchester Community College's ICE TV Club is set to commemorate the 50th anniversary of a favorite among horror movie fans.

MANCHESTER, CT — Just in time for Halloween, Manchester Community College’s ICE TV Club is set to commemorate the 50th anniversary of a favorite among horror movie fans, "Night of the Living Dead," with a public screening next week.

The showing is slated for Monday, Oct. 22, from 3:30 to 5:45 p.m. in Great Path Community Commons.

The matinee is open to the public. Admission is free but moviegoers are encouraged to bring a can or box of food to support MCC’s onsite food pantry.

The unique matinee includes a special post-film discussion of the black-and-white classic from 1968. MCC’s own horror movie expert, Instructor Robert Brandt of the Communication department, will lead the discussion beginning at 5:15 p.m.
