MANCHESTER, CT — The Memorial Day slate for Manchester has been outlined by town officials.

Trash will not be collected on May 30, and will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.
Both Libraries will be closed for the Memorial Day Holiday on May 28 and May 30.

Memorial Day Parade:
The Annual Manchester Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for May 30, at 9:30 a.m.
Serving the State of CT since 1771, the First Company Governor's Foot Guard, the nation’s oldest continuously serving military unit, will be featured. The parade route will begin at the Army and Navy Club, 1090 Main St., turns east on Center St., and then turns west at Agostinelli Park (former Munro Park). It will conclude at Center Memorial Park with a Memorial Day program honoring our fallen veterans.
In the event the parade is cancelled due to inclement weather, the Center Memorial Park Program will take place indoors at the Salvation Army, 661 Main St., at 11 a.m. (no masks required).
Marchers should assemble at 8:45 a.m. at the Army and Navy Club.
Manchester's Memorial Day Observance will begin with a Church Service and Massing of the Colors at the Salvation Army on May 29 at 9:45 a.m. Maj. R. Michael Himes will be officiating the Service. The public is invited to attend.
