Frontera is taking the place of Plaza Azteca at 170 Slater St. In May, Plaza Azteca announced it was moving to the Shoppes at Buckland Hills mall — at the former Bertucci's — and renaming itself Toro Azteca.
The staff went with the Azteca move and jobs are being added at the new place by the new restaurant — Frontera. A sign bills the menu as "fresh Mex." Frontera also has locations in Chicopee and Springfield in Massachusetts.
