UPDATE: 26 Children Among Those Taken to Local Hospitals After Manchester Crash
The school bus crash happened on I-384 around 4 p.m.

Update, 7:30 p.m.
According to NBC Connecticut, 25 children on the bus were taken to local hospitals for minor injuries or as a precautionary measure. One child and and two adults from the car were also taken to the hospital.
All of the injuries are considered non-life threatening.

At the time of the crash, the bus was bringing 26 children and two adults to East Hartford from Bolton Elementary School.
The investigation is still ongoing, but authorities are saying that it appears that the bus rear ended the other vehicle.

The Hartford Courant’s David Moran is reporting that seven ambulances have responded to the crash.

A school bus crashed on I-384 in Manchester on Tuesday afternoon and minor injuries have been reported, according to WFSB.
The bus was rear-ended on the westbound side of the highway, between exits 3 and 4, and was carrying as many as 25 people.
Multiple ambulances were sent to the scene and the injuries are being described as minor.
According to Fox CT, the right two lanes are closed.
