Monaco Ford Hosts Event to Benefit Wounded Warriors Family Support

Monaco Ford of Glastonbury is holding its fourth annual High Five Tour and Car Show to benefit Wounded Warriors Family Support. The fundraising event will be held on Thursday, August 6th from 5-8pm at 767 New London Turnpike in Glastonbury.

The money raised will go to the Wounded Warrior Family Support Organization. The group provides support to the families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed during combat operations. The families of our casualties suffer in many ways: some financially, some psychologically.

The High Five Tour is Ford sponsored campaign where former military personnel drive vehicles across the country and make stops and certain dealerships, Monaco Ford being one of them.

This event is part of Monaco’s Protectors Among us Campaign. This summer they are asking the public to share stories about people in their lives who protect them. Click here to see their latest video.

“We have a military background in our family and anything that we can do to help support military personnel who’ve been wounded and their families, we will do it,” said Chrissy Monaco, Owner of Monaco Ford. “ Each year the event grows and we expect to have the largest turnout yet. It is always so humbling to see the amount of support our friends and customers give to our nations heroes and their families,” said Monaco.
