Mural Progressing At New Manchester Brewery

MANCHESTER, CT — A mural on the side of a new brewhouse on Mancheser's Purnell Place is progressing.

Urban Lodge Brewing is preparing to open this summer at No. 47.

The mural began creeping down the side of a whitewashed wall at the beginning of the week and by Thursday, it was more than half done.

Economic development officials shared some images.

Urban Lodge Brewing Co. will occupy about 7,000 square feet, officials said. The layout includes a five-barrel brewery and space for 293 customers. The brewery will also feature a 1,500-square-foot outdoor patio, officials said.

Urban Lodge will become the the third brewery in Manchester.
