“Never Miss an Opportunity to Listen”

I have always professed to be a good listener and became an even better listener when my wife and I took a communication seminar. It should have been called a listening seminar. There was a lot of listening to what isn’t being said, now that really takes paying attention.

I often hear couples pacifying one another rather than truly listening.  When that is happening, it is my job to ferret out what my clients are truly looking to accomplish rather than not listening to what is being said and what is not being said.
