Northern Connecticut: Snow to Impact Monday's AM Commute

Here are the new details on Monday's expected snow for Hartford, Tolland, Windham, and Litchfield counties.

There's good news and bad news concerning the forecast. Unlike Southern Connecticut, which has a Winter Weather Advisory, areas in the northern section of the state don't have a snow advisory in place. But, the National Weather Service is still predicting some accumulation for northern sections of the state.

A Hazardous Weather Outlook has been issued for Litchfield County as a "quick moving system will bring light accumulating snow late tonight into early Monday. Current indications are for 2 to 4 inches of snow which could impact the Monday morning commute. There is still uncertainty with the track of this system which will affect snowfall totals."

For Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties, a general 1 to 3 inches of snow is forecast.
