New Ice Cream Shop Opens In Downtown Manchester

A new business has finally been able to open in Downtown Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — An ice cream shop that's a sister store to a popular coffee shop in Downtown Manchester was finally able to make its debut this month.

Center Scoop opened at 629 Main Street on June 2. The ice cream shop venture was announced in January by sisters Christine Bedrossian and Kimberly Barrett, who also own Center Perk at 639 Main St.

No. 629 is the old Electrolux building.

Food establishements have been slowly reopening as coronavirus restrictions have loosened.

On Center Scoop's Facebook page, advertised flavors included, Vanilla, coffee, strawberry, chocolate, cherry almost chip, banana chip, mint chip, mango coconut, peanut butter and pineapple coconut.
