I thought I was hearing things, when you told me to contact the bank where we do our banking. I did contact them and told them of your recommendation. They also told me that you refer home equity clients to them on a regular basis. Who knew? Thank you again.
Yes, we can do home equity lines of credit, but I talk most of my clients out of using me for that purpose. I normally recommend that clients contact the bank where they keep their checking or savings accounts.
Banks and credit unions as a rule do not charge fees for doing home equity lines for their customers.
I am never comfortable charging someone when somewhere else will charge nothing.
