Northern CT Put On Hazardous Weather Watch Friday

The National Weather Service is saying resident of Hartford and Tolland counties should watch the skies Friday afternoon and night.

Th National Weather Service is suggesting that residents of Hartford and Tolland counties watch the skies Friday until 10 p.m.

A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for northern sections of Connecticut.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are forecast across northern and
western portions of Massachusetts and Connecticut from roughly 3 p.m.
to 10 p.m.
While the main threats of heavy downpours and frequent lightning are
anticipated, there are additional threats of strong to damaging winds
along with the possibility of a tornado. In addition, there is the
potential for hail up to an inch.
