One Person Injured in Manchester Garage Fire

One person was taken to a local hospital for smoke inhalation after a garage fire was reported on Teresa Road around 10 a.m. on Friday, WFSB 3 TV reports.

When fire crews arrived they saw heavy smoke and firefighters heard an explosion, WFSB 3 said.

Firefighters were able to rescue two cats from inside the house, WFSB 3 reports.

Quick work by firefighters helped prevent the blaze from spreading into the house and doing significant damange there.
