Opening Reception: Woven Narratives & The Mystique of Silk

MCC on Main presents two new exhibitions featuring contemporary textiles, and 1920's fashion ads from Cheney Brothers Silk Manufacturing Co.

The Dehn Gallery at MCC on Main presents "Woven Narratives" and "The Mystique of Silk". An opening reception for both exhibits will be held Friday, May 20th, from 6 to 8 p.m. The reception and exhibitions are free and open to the public. The work will be shown in the Dehn Gallery at MCC on Main from May 17th through August 27th, 2016.

About the Show:
Woven Narratives features contemporary textiles with artists utilizing traditional (fabric) and non-traditional (construction fencing, caution tape, woven beads) materials.
