Opening Reception: Woven Narratives & The Mystique of Silk

The Dehn Gallery at MCC on Main presents "Woven Narratives" and "The Mystique of Silk". An opening reception for both exhibits will be held Friday, May 20th, from 6 to 8 p.m. The reception and exhibitions are free and open to the public. The work will be shown in the Dehn Gallery at MCC on Main from May 17th through August 27th, 2016.

About the Show:
Woven Narratives features contemporary textiles with artists utilizing traditional (fabric) and non-traditional (construction fencing, caution tape, woven beads) materials.

Showing concurrently with Woven Narratives in the Loop Gallery at MCC on Main is The Mystique of Silk, an exhibition of Fashion ads from the 1910s & 1920s from the Cheney Brothers Silk Manufacturing Co., of Manchester, CT.
