Pace Car Chosen For 2022 Manchester Road Race

MANCHESTER, CT — The Manchester Road Race Committee Wednesday announced that the Official Pace Car of the 86th edition of the Thanksgivng Day Race will be the Toyota Tundra.

The vehicle is being provided by Connecticut Toyota Dealers.

This year will mark the third straight year that a Toyota vehicle was named as the Pace Car. In 2020 it was a Toyota Supra, and last year a Toyota 4Runner led the way for runners on Manchester's famed 4.748-mile race course.

This year the Connecticut Toyota Dealers will also have a display on Main Street in front of Bennett Academy where Race participants and spectators can check out the Toyota Tundra Pace Car and another Toyota vehicle both before the Race start and after the last MRR walkers have turned the corner off of Main Street.

The Manchester Road Race will take place on Thanksgiving morning at 10 in downtown Manchester.
